FAB-LABS
FAB-LABS (fabrication laboratory) are small-scale workshops offering digital fabrication. They serve as technical prototyping platforms for innovation and invention, providing stimulus for local entrepreneurship and skilling.
Equipped with an array of flexible computer-controlled tools, FAB-LABS provide access to environment, skills, materials and advanced technology to allow anyone to make "almost anything".
They promote engineering-oriented pursuits like electronics, 3D printing, coding, robotics, AR/VR, as well as traditional activities like metalworking and woodworking.
FAB-LABS can be used by fabricators, artists, students, trainers, crafters, innovators, uneducated and dropouts. It has the next-generation tools and software, as well as fabrication work flows and processes and has the power to make technology accessible to the underprivileged and marginalized youth of society.
